Process Innovation Efficiency Evaluation in IT Organisation
Prediction in Projects using Markov Chains
Doležal, Jan ; Buřita, Ladislav (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on possibilities of a project development prediction and a decision support for managers of those projects, which is an up to date topic in the present time turbulent environment. Project is understood as a stochastic process with discrete states and discrete time in this thesis. This approach could be represented by discrete moments of finding out project state. Project is compared to a finite automaton and Markovs chains are subsequently used. State model of the project based on Earned Value Management method is created in the proposal part of this thesis and there are state transitions probabilities. There are adjustments of the model designed consequently so the model is capable to fit some concrete situation closely. Designed proposals are tested in different situations to prove their value in the experimental part of this work.
Decision Making Support in CRM Systems
Filus, Michal ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Jirák, Ota (advisor)
The thesis deals with a decision making support in CRM systems. The goal of this thesis was to design a module for decision making support in the CRM system using Pentaho analysis tools. The theoretical part contains a description of the data warehousing and data mining with a focus on analytic operations and decision making support. It also contains brief description of CRM systems and possible application of decision making support in these systems. The practical part deals with the description of architecture of CRM system CRMminer and describes the decision making support module in this system.
Creation of Database Application and Solutions for Business Intelligence
Městka, Milan ; Kott, Josef (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
Theme of this master’s thesis is design of software support for business intelligence. Design is realized in cooperation with corporation ZZN Pelhřimov a.s. Introduction is focused on theoretical description of business intelligence and datamining and also on development environment in which is project designed. Corporation is characterised also in introduction. Main part contains data collecting and definition of individual modules. In conclusion of this thesis will be several types of analysis from collected data and then according to these analysis, we can draw measures to improve current state of corporation.
Podpora finančního rozhodování
Jakl, Roman
The diploma thesis deals with the design and partial implementation of a financial decision support system in a mutual funds field. The theoretical part describes a problematics of web applications, safety and testing of web applications, social responsibility and mutual funds. The practical part describes available commercial solutions, methods used for portfolio optimalization, the author's own design of the system and the author's contribution to the implementation of the system.

Selection of Relevant Rules Within Clinical Decision Support
Kalina, Jan ; Zvárová, Jana
Clinical decision support systems represent important telemedicine tools with the ability to help physicians within the decision process leading to determining diagnosis, therapy or prognosis of patients. We proposed and implemented a prototype of a clinical decision support system, which has the form of an internet classification service. A specific property of this system is a sophisticated statistical component, which allows to handle also a large number of symptoms and signs. It namely optimizes the selection of such symptoms and signs which are the most relevant for determining the diagnosis. The performance of the prototype was verified on an analysis of gene expression data from a cardiovascular genetic study. The paper discusses principles of multivariate statistical thinking and reveals challenges of analyzing high-dimensional data with the number of observed variables (symptoms and signs) largely exceeding the number of observations (patients).
